Archiving¶
When the processing module has finished is job, it is important to archive the lecture. Currently at CERN we are using Media Archive services with data storage technologies: this ensures to have a large disk space to archive lectures and automatically backuped.
Masters location¶
Masters are tarballs divided per year, named with the Indico ID. This is useful to immediately have info of the lecture.
You have to properly configure the conf file and set correctly the folders location of your archiving system. In this way, when the upload task is working, it will create the tar file with the lecture and it will move it in your archiving system.
The folder can be samba shared, or moved via scp: you have only to configure the media archive server in the list of machines.
